Hosting a Monthly Book Club 📚

Uplifting Women’s mission is to help women in our local area find positivity, community, and hope. We are able to support this by providing financial support and hosting community events. Our events come in many different shapes and sizes. One of our more smaller events is our monthly book club. With book lovers on our board, book club seemed like such a no brainer to start! Any bok worm was welcome to join, and over the year of our book club, we were able to bring together a group of women who may have never crossed paths before, but came together with their shared love of books. That is what building comminity is all about. It doesn’t always look like big major events, but ones that take place after work on a Thursday, eating some snacks and dissing the latest read. We cannot say thank you enough to all the ladies who have read and stopped by to discuss the books in our year of hosting book club. We absolutely love the little reading community we have created. It all started with “Where the Crawdads Sing” and has continued ever since.
