Galentine’s Day Game Night with Uplifting Women

Now that we are accepting members, the Uplifting Women community is growing. We have new faces and friends joining our cause and we could not be more excited. As a way to get to know our members as well as help them get to know each other, we hosted a Galentine's Day Game night. A core value of Uplifting Women is creating a community for women in our local area. We want our members to be able to get to know each other and feel comfortable when attending meetings. Joining a new group when you know no one there can be a little nerve-wracking, so we always want to ensure we are creating an environment everyone knows they are welcome to. In order to break the ice, we thought a game night would be perfect. Our secretary, Kaylee, created a custom jeopardy game that were women themed. Women's history, facts, famous women, etc. We split into two teams, and I cannot express how fun the night was. We even played two more games of jeopardy after to keep the good times going. Thank you to all the members that came out to play!

Next on the agenda for Uplifting Women is our ladies' night out event on March 10th! We are getting all the details nailed down and the games prepared. We are going ALL OUT this year with the theme of Country Queens. We cannot wait to see all the ladies and have a good time while raising money for those in need.
